NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) equips you with the practical tool of eye-accessing cues to understand a person's preferred way of thinking or processing information. The theory is that eye movements can indicate whether someone uses visual, auditory, or kinesthetic (feeling-based) representational systems in their mind.

• It's important to bear  in mind that NLP eye-accessing cues are not absolute indicators. Factors such as cultural background, handedness, and individual differences, which we should always respect, can influence eye movements.
• They are just one aspect of NLP and should be used with nonverbal cues, such as posture, hand movements, and tone of voice, to achieve a complete understanding.
• Limited scientific evidence supports the reliability of NLP eye-accessing cues. While some studies have shown a correlation between eye movements and cognitive processes, the field is still evolving, and more research is needed to establish a scientific basis for these cues.
