Brett Hill
After graduating with a degree in interpersonal communication, Brett became a technology expert and created a distinguished technical career. He presented at technical conferences worldwide for companies like Microsoft, Riverbed, and others. He published two books with Microsoft Press, hundreds of published articles, taught technical courses to Fortune 100 companies, and was awarded Microsoft's distinguished "Most Valuable Professional" award for 9 years.
But alongside that career, Brett's true passion was studying, practicing, and teaching mindfulness and meditation in many forms. He studied Hakomi, a mindfulness-based somatic psychology with founder Ron Kurtz. He trained as a facilitator in Matrix Leadership group dynamics and founded the Quest institute meditation center in Dallas.
He credits much of his professional success in the corporate world to the skills he learned by seeking out the best teachers he could find. He says "mindfulness has helped in every aspect of my professional and personal life. I believe passionately it's the most important skill a person can develop as it can transform not only your life, but the world."
When Covid hit, he decided to shift to helping people full time. He's now a certified Mindfulness, Wellness and Somatic Coach recognized by the International Coaching Federation and certified Mindfulness Facilitator by the Institute for Science and Organizational Mindfulness as well as a graduate fo the Inner MBA by Sounds True.
He's available for 1:1 coaching, speaking, and teaches The Mindful Coach Method training for heart-centered coaches that want to learn to how to use his coaching methods to help people inhabit the person they were born to be and engage the world from a connected, integrated place of being.
