Cindy Baier

Currently the President and CEO, Cindy Baier joined the Brookdale senior leadership team in December of 2015. A change-oriented executive who has demonstrated her abilities across multiple industries and leadership roles, Cindy brings a strong mix of financial acumen and operational expertise to Brookdale. Her philosophy is to find the right balance between mission and margin, and she is passionate about delivering Brookdale’s mission of enriching lives every day. Cindy believes strongly in public service and currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC) and the Nashville Health Care Council. She was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame in the College of Business at her alma mater, Illinois State University, and has been a frequent speaker on senior living and other business-related topics
