David Maurstad

David I. Maurstad is the Assistant Administrator for Federal Insurance at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Mr. Maurstad brings over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. As Assistant Administrator, Mr. Maurstad’s role is to improve policyholder customer experience, ensure stable and well run Federal Insurance operations, and help adapt to and lead change based on industry changes, trends, and legislation.
