Debra's passion is coaching creative strivers and exceptional leaders, helping them break free from burnout and overcoming unconscious self-sabotage. Debra approaches her work with enthusiasm and compassion, teaching her clients how to rejuvenate their energy, embrace a success mindset and unlock their higher purpose, not by looking outwardly, but by tuning inward and trusting the innate intelligence of their dreams, inner visions, and intuition.
Debra is intimately familiar with the creative process of turning dreams into reality. Her journey began at the age of 17 when she clinched the title of "Oregon Idol," flying to Los Angeles to compete for the coveted American Idol crown. Within the industry, she swiftly garnered the moniker "the girl with the incredible voice." Over the following decade, she dedicated herself to writing, recording, and performing six albums of original material. She had the privilege of opening for renowned artists such as Tower of Power, Chris Isaak, and Allen Stone. Her remarkable talents earned her acclaim at the Portland Music Awards, where she was celebrated as the "Best Female Artist of the Year," an honor presented by none other than Everclear frontman Art Alexakis. Her musical compositions were featured in popular television shows like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," "Related" (created by Marta Kauffman of 'Friends' TV show fame), and even the Sundance documentary "Clear-Cut."
In her 30s, as she dedicated herself to raising her two daughters, Debra's career underwent a dynamic shift when she discovered her innate talent for coaching. She quickly became a highly sought-after coach and teacher, embarking on a two-year journey as the Enrollment Director and Lead Coach for CreativeMind, where she specialized in the Jungian Life Coaching method. This pivotal experience ultimately led her to establish her own company, PRECIPICE Coaching and Consulting. Her original coaching approach and programs are based on Transpersonal Psychology, New Thought Perspective, Innate Energy Intelligence and Non-Violent Philosophies.
Debra's clients turn to her during significant life milestones, transitions, or identity crises. They come to her with a readiness to break free from their current limitations, whether it be burnout, grief, or dissatisfaction with their work-life balance. Debra has earned the endearing nickname "Dive Deep Debra" from her clients, who also affectionately refer to her as a 'Spiritual Midwife'. Under her expert guidance, clients delve into the language of symbolism and the symbolic life, embracing holistic practices such as dream work, meditations, visualization, and free writing. They learn to access their inner wisdom in the unconscious realms of their psyche. This exploration is the key to achieving lasting change and nurturing self-sustaining energy in midlife and beyond.
Debra currently makes her home in Walla Walla, WA, alongside her cherished family. She's eagerly anticipating the release of a forthcoming book, which will offer readers an intimate exploration of her life experiences and personal methodologies.
