Didi Paulini


Didi Paulini is a passionate storyteller who brings ideas to life through emotionally powerful and transformative experiences. As an award-winning producer and director, she has built a career marked by creativity, innovation, and inclusivity. With over a decade of experience, Didi has led groundbreaking projects such as the short film Glass Cabinet, winner of the Best Diversity Film award, and the podcast “Twisted Mind,” winner at RioWebFest.

 

Born in a small town in Brazil, Didi’s journey began with a degree in Economics, but her love for storytelling led her to the world of filmmaking. After earning an MBA in Film in Brazil, she is now earning her MFA in Digital Filmmaking from Georgia State University, combining her academic expertise with hands-on industry experience to craft compelling narratives that inspire change and foster empathy.

 

Didi’s work continues to highlight diversity and human connection. She directed the documentary Transcendence, which follows the lives of seven transgender individuals in Atlanta and has already earned recognition at international festivals. Additionally, she is producing “Harmony of Freedom,” a captivating documentary exploring the profound power of music and art in fostering unity and breaking barriers across cultures.

 

Other upcoming releases include:

● “ALFA Rising” — a documentary on resilience and representation.

● “On Tiptoes” — a poignant story about autism and inclusion.

● Animated shorts “A Hug” and “Scrap of Paper,” which showcase her innovative approach to storytelling. All these projects are slated for release in early 2025, underscoring her commitment to impactful narratives.

 

Didi believes storytelling is a tool for transformation. "For me, telling stories is not just about entertainment; it's about creating empathy, challenging perceptions, and inspiring us to imagine a better world," she says.
