Dr. Molly Perdue


Dr. Molly Perdue MA, MS, PhD is the author of Exploring the Experiences of Family Caregivers: Cape Cod's Invisible Workforce, Upholding the Promise of Olmstead for people with Alzheimer's and Dementia-related Disease Northeastern University, 2012.

As Director of Family Services at Hope Health Care of Cape Cod, she worked with thousands of families and individuals dealing with dementia, running support groups for caregivers as well as people with dementia-related disease. An expert in the field of caregiving and dementia care, she has served on the Massachusetts working group to create the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Plan, and helped create the Massachusetts Silver Alert Policy. She has received grants from Northeastern University to participate in the National Alzheimer's Advisory Council, has spoken at the Barnstable County Disability Forum, and has participated in numerous public conversations via radio and print media.

As founder and Executive Director of the newly-formed nonprofit entity the Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Support Center, Perdue continues her work as an educator, clinician, researcher, and advocate for families and individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia-related diseases on Cape Cod and elsewhere.
