Dwana Bradley

Dwana Bradley is the proud mother of Nautika and JaMarcus, the Executive Director of the Des Moines (Iowa) Urban Experience and serves as the General Chairperson for Iowa Juneteenth. Passionate about storytelling, she owns Iowa Urban Media, which publishes Urban Experience Magazine and produces "This is not my Show" podcast. As a former member of the Des Moines Public School Board, Dwana is a remarkable powerhouse commited to student education and wellbeing. She actively seeks to foster robust local community partnerships and encourage collaboration.  A lifetime learner Dwana is currently working on her doctorate in educational leadership at Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.
