Tanya Baxtel

Tanya is the co-writer for the award winning blog Travelin’ Cousins™ and she happily spends all her free time feeding her traveling addiction. Although she has a background career working in major Hollywood film productions, she currently is working in logistics for the transportation industry. Being an expert at multitasking, she is someone who clearly doesn’t know how to relax; in fact, you might call her a professional Gap Filler or a Schedule Juggler.

She is a mom to two young adults and will always puts her family before everything else.

In 2014, Tanya teamed up with her cousin Elisa to start Travelin’ Cousins™ travel blog. Their adventures took them together and separately through the years throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Central America, Asia and everywhere in between!

This out of the box thinker quickly takes on a leadership role when necessary and lives by these simple factors - Responsibility, Reliability and Respect; Compassion, Consideration and Caring. Better known to her as the 3R’s & the 3C’s.

Being a traveling addict, you will always find Tanya filling her personal schedule with getaways, trips and vacations. She does not go a day without thinking about travel. Everyone she knows approaches her for her expertise and assistance when planning any type of trip, big or small. She has also led a number of travel committees and organized several group trips for various organizations.

Living life on her own terms she also helped inspire several other travel bloggers/adventurers with their own travel passions and has assisted many by guiding them onto their own paths.

In 2018, Travelin’ Cousins™ was named #7 Top Mom Blogs and in 2024, they celebrated their 10th Bloggaversary!

Having a real zest for life and being a NY Italian (you can take the girl out of the city, but you can never take the city out of the girl), her passion for all things can be witnessed through her immense energy and fierce attitude!
